Greetings,
On behalf of the Greater Women's Business Council (GWBC®), I would like to add my warm welcome to all guests and my sincere congratulations to all nominees and winners as we celebrate the 2011 LACE (Ladies Achieving Continuous Excellence) Awards!
GWBC is an advocate and supporter of women's business enterprises. I value being part of an organization that consistently and intentionally empowers ladies to achieve excellence and the LACE Awards are a testament to that objective. What better way to celebrate the women, and the organizations that support them, than by participating in this fabulous event this evening.
I would like to congratulate all the nominees and winners on your achievements as you have defined what it takes to "achieve continuous excellence." I have a sign in my office that is appropriate to share. It reads, "Achievement: Unless you try to do something beyond what you have already mastered, you will never grow." You are growing! GWBC is helping us to grow!
As I conclude my year representing GWBC as the 2011 Business Star, I want to offer my gratitude to you for allowing me to represent our Greater Women's Business Council, and the fabulous WBEs and Corporate Members present in our special part of the Southeast – North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia.
